Riot Squad Cherry Fizzle Shortfill Review

If you’re familiar with the vaping industry, then the chances are that you’ve heard of Riot Squad. Despite only being founded in 2016, Riot Squad are one of the most recognisable e-liquid brands due to their unique branding and explosive flavours.

Just over a month ago, Riot Squad released Blue Burst as a 50ml shortfill, which got a great reception from vapers all over the globe. Blue Burst was originally part of Riot Squad’s S:ALT range, which features a collection of bold nicotine salt e-liquid. Perhaps due to the recent success of Blue Burst, Riot Squad have decided to release another S:ALT flavour as a shortfill.

This time, it’s Cherry Fizzle’s turn to make the switch from nic salts to shortfill. Cherry Fizzle has always been one of the most popular flavours within Riot Squad’s S:ALT range, therefore the decision to add it to their shortfill range seems like a no brainer. But is that the case?

Personally, I have always been sat on the fence when it comes to cherry e-liquid. I do enjoy it, but only if it’s good quality e-liquid. Truth be told, cherry isn’t my favourite fruit when it comes to e-liquid and I much prefer flavours such as mango and blackcurrant. I have had quite a few mediocre cherry flavours in my time, but I was intrigued to try out Cherry Fizzle as a shortfill.

I have tried Cherry Fizzle as a nicotine salts e-liquid in a low wattage device and to be totally honest I enjoyed it a lot. I was hoping that in a higher power device, Cherry Fizzle would deliver stunning taste and dense clouds. I was right.

Cherry Fizzle seems to perfectly nail the contrast of sweet and sour notes and delivers an ultimately refreshing flavour. On inhale you are greeted by the infectious taste of fizzy, sour cherries almost as if you were tasting cherry sweets. Decadent sherbet undertones are evident throughout this vape which makes it even more delicious and satisfying.

The most impressive thing that I have found about Riot Squad’s e-liquid when I’ve tasted it is the fact that their flavours tend to be powerful and in your face. Cherry Fizzle as a shortfill is absolutely no exception. Your taste buds will be rocked by the sheer taste within this e-liquid, especially for a shortfill considering its high VG percentage. I must say though, if you’re not a fan of strong tasting, bold e-liquid then Cherry Fizzle probably isn’t right for you.

But certainly, if you like bold tasting cherry flavours then Cherry Fizzle is the one for you. Cherry Fizzle is a stunning flavour that packs a punch and will be certain to rock your taste buds. The sweet and sugary undertones really compliment the sour cherry taste and yet again Riot Squad have managed to make a truly magnificent flavour.
