So you have heard about Ecigs, you're ready to make the change, but not sure what you need to get started?

E-Cigarettes are becoming more popular by the minute, there is now over 1 million users in the UK alone, with hundreds of products on the market, new users can quite easily become overwhelmed with the choices available and not sure where to start.

There are 3 main components to an E-Cigarette Device, the battery, atomiser and E-Liquid.

The Battery and Atomiser connect to each other to create the E-Cigarette. The battery provides power to the atomiser and the atomiser is the section which stores and heats up the E-Liquid turning it to vapour.

The atomiser is composed of a tank and the heating element. The tank stores the liquid and feeds liquid into the heating element. As the battery transfers power to the atomiser the heating element increases its temperature and the liquid becomes vapourised as you inhale it.

Our E-Liquid is made up of 4 main ingredients; Propelyne Glycol (PG), Vegetable Glycerin (VG), Naturally extracted Nicotine and Flavourings. As the E-Liquid is vapourised and once inhaled, it gives you a dose of nicotine, a taste of flavour and once exhaled a cloud of vapour giving you a complete smoking effect.

So What do I need?

To Begin with you will need a Battery, Atomiser, E-Liquid and a Charger. When looking at different products you can quickly become confused with the differences between them, however to begin with a basic EGO E-Cig and a supply of E-Liquid is all you need to get going. Then as you learn more about the type of vape you like, you may decide to upgrade your vaping equipment to bigger devices such as Variable Voltage E-Cigs. To make things easier for you, we have created a starter kit for the new vapour, which includes everything you need to make the switch to vaping. This is available as a single or double kit. A double includes 2x E-Cigarettes incase you have a partner or you would like a spare on hand for the times when you find your E-Cig needing a charge when you are out and about.

 What else do I need to know?

Our E-liquid is available in 3 strengths, 12mg, 18mg and 24mg. These are the measurements of Nicotine per bottle. For example, a 12mg E-Liquid has 1.2% nicotine content per 1ml. It is similar to smoking a smooth cigarette. 18mg is similar to Mayfair or Lambert & Butler and 24mg is similar to stronger cigarettes like B&H or Embassy.

All of our bottles are supplied in quantities of 10ml, this is roughly the equivalent to 100x Cigarettes and lasts the average user 4-7 days.

The Heating Element of the Atomiser is known as a coil head, this part over time becomes burnt and does need replacing. We supply coil heads in packs of 3 for £4.99 and each coil head lasts the average user 4-6 weeks. Heavy users may find that these need replacing more frequently. When purchasing these, ensure you purchase the right fitting for your atomiser. The Atomiser included in the Starter Kit is a Ce5+ and these can be found here Ce5+ Coil Heads.
